My stay at the hotel had its ups and downs. The rooms, while clean, were old-fashioned and in need of modernization, with issues like peeling wallpaper and a moldy bathroom blind. However, the room was very spacious despite being dark due to poor lighting. The service was a mixed bag, with a lovely breakfast attendant but unhelpful overall. The location was convenient, offering easy access to surrounding areas, but the dining experience left much to be desired with poor-quality food. Despite these shortcomings, the hotel had some positive aspects, such as its great location and spacious rooms.

My stay at the hotel was a mixed experience. While the location was very convenient for my business travel and the dining options were excellent, there were some issues with the room and a few missed opportunities in terms of service. The value for money was reasonable considering the overall experience.

When I arrived, the room was incredibly hot, but thankfully it was heated and not cold. The strong smell of a cleaning product was a bit off-putting though. The service truly stood out with exceptional, polite staff who went above and beyond to make me feel welcome.

The hotel is promising but needs improvement. The rooms were clean and had all the expected facilities, yet they were quite noisy due to nearby disturbances. The property shows signs of being developed for B&B, creating an untidy environment around the building. The rooms, though dated, were adequate once switched from a cold one.

The hotel offers fantastic family accommodation with separate areas for kids, although opening windows for airing is advisable. The service is excellent, including assistance with taxi bookings and attentive management. The location is unbeatable for exploring the high street and easy access to public transportation, though some areas are dated. Dining provides good value for money, especially for all-you-can-eat options.
